#### EMPLOYMENT HISTORY
*Director, Whitespace Studios, UK and Australia 09/2004-current*
Whitespace Studios produce web sites utilising current technologies including PHP, MySQL databases and Content Management Systems like Xaraya and Drupal. My duties range from establishing new clients to programming PHP, XHTML and CSS to create rich visually exciting web sites that adhere to web standards where possible.
*Technical Support and Web Design, Real Time, Reading, UK 01/2003-09/2004*
Real Time hired me as a technical support engineer to help support their mixed Windows and Mac environment in their video editing suite and offices. My duties included cabling and configuration of new terminals, support for operational problems, configuring routers and other support tasks.
I migrated their operational platform to Final Cut Pro and trained them in the use of the software. I also created their current web site to re-place their old non-standards compliant one so that Real Time could update the site
themselves using a Content Management System.
*Graphics Operator, GMS, Reading, UK 04/2001-03/2002*
My main role in this small company was to prepare artwork ready for printing. This involved the technical use of various graphics packages including Photoshop and Corel Draw. I had to liaise and develop a business relationship with clients on the phone or in person, using my initiative and abilities to create fresh artwork from brief outlines.
As this was a high pressure environment with fast turnarounds, large print runs and very little room for error, I had to develop a solid working strategy that included programming Outlook to keep better track of my work and managing projects in a methodical and orderly way. Prestigious clients included Microsoft, Pepsi and Walker's Crisps.
*Administration Officer, The Intervention Board, Reading, UK 01/2000-04/2001*
As an Administration Officer my duties were to complete forms with perfect accuracy
and to work with Access databases, Excel spreadsheets and other admin packages. I
created a spreadsheet with complex formulas to significantly speed up the completion
time of my work.
*Casual work, Australia and Europe 01/1995-05/1997*
I travelled in Australia, Italy, Greece and Turkey for a few years, working in CafeÌ s and
Restaurants as well as performing in street acts using a mixture of dance, juggling and
fire.
